Our fabulous Eco Schools committee took part in the Wheelie Big Challenge with help from our Eco Schools NI field officer, Gareth Lamrock. We learned all about waste and the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. Our first challenge was to weigh all the waste in our school. We will monitor this over the coming weeks before weighing it again to see if there has been a reduction!
A massive thank you to Gareth for all of his help. As you can see from the photographs, the children weren’t afraid to get stuck in and help sort the rubbish!
