In Primary 7B we were getting messy with chalk pastels. We learnt how to use 2 new techniques called blocking and hatching. Blocking is when the side of the chalk pastel is used to fill areas (leaving no spaces). Hatching is when layers of short diagonal lines are used in a combination of colours.
We were creating landscape pictures using chalk pastels and these techniques.
