Pratical Maths in P7.

10th Oct 2017

We have been exploring perimeter in P7. We learnt that the perimeter of a shape is the distance all round it. The perimeter of a circle is called the circumference. To find the perimeter of a rectangle we found out we can use a formula P= (L + B) x 2. This formula only works with rectangles (and squares).

We then tried to find the perimeter of various items around the glass using mm, cm and m as units of measure. We even found the perimeter of the classroom.
