The Primary 2 children have really enjoyed learning all about Transport & Travel; Land, Air and Sea, this term. There was fantastic role play at our travel agents and with our various transport structured play activities. We even learned to speak a little French and tasted some croissants on our travels! In Numeracy, we learned the value of the coins and counted out money totals and gave change in our P2 shop with our friends. In Literacy, we continued with our Linguistic phonics learning new sound digraphs and trigraphs, new key words and doing some fabulous reading and writing! We wrote our own creative stories after we cooked up a character using our imaginations...(have a read through them in your child’s writing books sent home this week.) We also sent our own postcards and created our own passports as part of our topic work!
