Primary 6 develop Scientific Enquiry

Primary 6 were busy today with their second Sentinus Workshop exploring Tasty Science. We had a fabulous session and all pupils participated well. Great questions were asked and pupils made predictions before testing their theories about concerning
- ph level and acidity of food
- Amount of sugar in food
- Vitamin C content in food
- Quantity of starch in food
Pupils used universal indicator paper, pipettes, Petri dishes, glucose test strips, DCPIP, iodine and a variety of foods in solid and liquid form.
